God bless man, if you need anything, PM me and I will do what I can. Watching the news, our hearts are broken to see our countrymen in shambles. Rest assured, you are not abandoned.

Wow!!!!!!! I was really worried about you, U-T!!!!! I know your area was just as bad as mine. Now that you are fine you need your butt kicked for staying!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J/K, Im sure you feel like its been kicked already. I know I do and I didnt ride it out!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I think everyone is now accounted for. My whole family is fine. Hey Bayou, I might be living in your neck of the woods for a few weeks. My husbands work will be setting up a temp office and housing for us around Baton Rouge. Looks like right now they are looking at some townhouses in Gonzales. I'll let you know!!!!!!!!!

All is great before the storm.

Then the storm hits and honestly...not that bad.

Wind picks up really, really badly but no damage really except for branches and honestly...not that much rain.

So we deal with it all Monday and go to sleep that night thinking we are fine.

Then comes the levee break Tuesday. Wake up to water literally 11-12 feet high on our street/house. Time to leave. I swim to our country club 2 miles away to grab a boat that I knew was located near their pool. I bring it to our family's house and we paddle our way to a friends house where we used a truck to exit the city
