The little one is almost 3. She is fine. The oldest is 5 and is having a tough time. She is very smart and its hard to hide things from her!!! She keeps on asking about certian items in her room. Its really hard because my whole family lost everthing. My mom and dad, my husbands mom and dad and my 80 year old grampa all lost our houses. My inlaws got about 5 foot, I got 6, my mom got 6 and my grampa has about 3 steps left of a raised house. Im sorry to ramble. Its just nice to talk to someone different!!!

Im not really sure. I know there are some places that got lucky over there and didnt get all that water from the levee break. My town, Slidell, got a 15 foot tidal surge from the lake. I dont really know much about Marrero.

I am glad I stayed.

Our house and the city made it just fine through the Hurricane.

It was that damn levee breach that f-ed up the city

All in all, I did fine but it was my family that worried me. They couldn't handle the boat party and the driving through deep waters after.

I had been in MUCH worse situations.
