In the world of the nite people, the hair of the dog is a quick fix for what ails you in the morn. Bruce Pearls hair of the dog is the style of basketball he originally coached. The same style of basketball that he faced with Indy in this game, clutch shooting from the perimeter, pressure defense and making your free throws. Those are the Butlers etc. Talent wise is a world of difference! How do you teach these concepts to blue blood race horses? The big orange needs a complete point guard one who can score but run the show and be a leader. That's all this team is missing!! Maybe it's Trae Golden? Go Vols. :unsure:

Dumb thread. #92, does Derek Dooley and team owe you an apology for losing to South Carolina, or do the Miami Heat owe you an apology for losing to Utah last night? The answer is no. It's a loss, and a loss that doesn't count towards anything (exhibition game). They came out in an exhibition game, played like they could have cared less and lost to a team that this win probably meant a whole lot to.

Don't be ridiculous. They don't owe anybody an apology, they just need to play as a team and show that they have the ability to win basketball games against solid teams and not-so-solid teams alike.

Horrible thread, move on everyone, nothing to see here.

Wow. I dono about the worst game I've ever seen. I do however feel it was a bad coaching job by Pearl. It looked like a church league game when you get a bunch of guys together and go out to shoot. I really thought the offense was executed so poorly but I won't demand blood for an exhibition loss. Also, you need to remember that most teams learn more from a game like this than they do if they blew the guys out by 50. It serves as a great motivation tool so I'd rather it happen when it didn't count than in Madison Square Garden by a tournament team in the upper digits. They'll be fine.
