I think it's going to be a close game no matter who wins.  After seeing the lack of performance that Bama put forth against Ole Miss, it looks to me like the Vols can definately win this game.

I'm hoping that our close game with Ole Miss will make UT play with a little less intensity. If we had come out and blown away Ole Miss, I have a feeling your guys would come out swinging this week with nothing to lose. Now our poor performance might give them a false sense of confidence. (at least that's what I'm hoping)

I see what you're saying but there is no way that UT doesn't come out with intensity.

There is way too much to lose by losing this game. Losing 3 games is enough motivation. Losing it to bama would be even worse. I think that our guys have way too much pride to not want this game. Bama has the target on their back this time. Undefeated, ranked in the top 10 etc. It's everything that Vols need to get back on track.

The Vols have absolutely nothing to lose at this point. They will be loose, well rested, healed up and this will give them more confidence instead of lack of.

I think (or pray) that this will be the best game the Vols put together so far. Right now, that's all we as Vol fans can ask for. If they do start to click and play mistake free ball, then look out.

I don't think that either one of our teams ever overlook each other. The rivalry is way too rich for such things.

It will be a good one. That's for sure.

welcome! notable quotes are from General Neyland 'A players doesnt know what hes made of until he plays against Alabama'...and from Bear Bryant after his retirement 'If I could coach just 1 more game it'd be against Tennessee' GO Vols!
