Exerts from the Denver Post:
Dan Hawkins Wouldn't Recruit Son if Given Another Chance
"All this comes up again because Hawkins' bosses seem to be distancing themselves as the season's final game approaches. From votes of confidence earlier in the season, now we have an approaching "evaluation." I asked Hawkins about this apparent change in tone, but he just smiled and said he was focused on Nebraska."
"So, Hawkins is right. It was a mistake. Not only for the son, who had to endure the charges of favoritism, but for the father, whose dream gig might not survive the experiment."
Again, I'll take my chances here in College Station. The best thing about Cu is getting tanked before, during, and after the games as well as hitting the slopes on an extended 4 day weekend. Got nothing against Cu. Just have a hard time taking garbage from a program that has essentially done less than my alma mater, yet enjoys pointing to "scoreboard" after a one point win. Its pointless, and Im done with it. Best wishes to Ralphie in '10. They need all the fans they can get at this juncture.
