ESPN College GameDay host Rece Davis is extremely bullish on Tennessee's defensive front after just two games into the season.

Maybe so, & old Bob can't hold a candle to John Ward; but travelling through South Carolina on Saturday, we listened to USCjr game. Gamecock broadcasters Todd Ellis & Tommy Suggs are simply wretched! Kesling not nearly that bad.

I took Rece's use of "Give him six!" and "Touchdown Tennessee!" as a tribute to John Ward.

I did as well. He was far more exciting on TV than poor Bob Kessling. And Pat Ryan talks over him. Bad broadcasting.
