ETSU went to Birmingham and got killed by a mediocre UAB team tonight. It would really be nice if someone other than Kansas and Memphis on our nonconference schedule showed a pulse.

I thought Depaul beating St. Joes and Detroit looked pretty good. They have to play Vanderbilt and Miss State, but given that you think the SEC sucks, they should be able to win those games also.

If Depaul can win 8 games in the Big East and win all their scrub games outside the SEC ones they will be an 18 win team this year.

Austin Peay and Charlotte could still have good seasons.

UAB does not necessarily look like a bad team this early in the year. They have a lot of wins.
