Based on what? He didn't have to work hard and it cost him. Jerome Stancil(what up homie!!) Played 3 years across the water. Vercel coulda been great. I played him every day in practice. When he played with a purpose he wasn't guardable in AAC. Problem was he tended to play sort of lazy and try to rely on his athleticism and size more than not. Nonetheless, great days. Go Lions!

Tennessee Wesleyan grad here...King is no longer in NAIA, they have moved on to greener pastures. Two of my best friends went to King and they always had an adavantage because the conf. tourney was always held at their gym. Always thought that was a little bush league, seeing as though DB high would have been well suited for a neutral gymnasium. TWC is a baseball school though, although we did go to the NAIA National Tourney twice in my four years at Wesleyan for basketball. Congrats to King on the big win! :good!:

No.

I can't think of his name, but is the guy at King who was at Science Hill for so long and then went the Brentwood Academy when Bone was there?

The coaches name is George Pitts. He is an alumnus of UT and coached high school ball at Beardon, Science Hill, and Brentwood. One of his assistant coaches is Shane Williams, who played point guard for the Vols during the Kevin O'Neil years.

Grew up in Dayton, TN. Shot basketball in the Bryan College gym my entire childhood. Spent lots of time with Coach Mo. I still remember Bryan College having one of the best 3-point shooters I have ever seen. Mark Pack, unbelievable range.

Thank you.

Could not remember his name, just that he had an awesome stache.

If basketball games were 37 or 38 minutes long Buzz Peterson would be gearing for his 8th straight national title here. I never saw a coach find more ways to lose games after the final TV timeout.

I never saw a team get burned by letting the other team hit a last second tying 3. I remember at least 2 games the Vols were up 3 and the other team had the final possession. I screamed at the TV to foul them so they couldn't shoot a 3 and....bottom. OT, Vols lose.

And that Louisville game where they blew a 9 point lead with less than a minute left was one of the worst things I've ever witnessed.
