The SEC cannibalism is hurting the voted polls but the computers still rank SEC much higher than any other conference.

Top-6 RPI is SEC and 8 of 12 and 11 of 25.
The Vols have now played 4 top -25 RPI teams

Texas is clearly #1

I believe the rest of the top-10 is completely random

I agree, the other UT is in the drivers seat for now, but obviously being SEC regular season champs carries a ton of weight. RPI and SOS play a part as do bad losses and good road wins. Win the series this weekend makes last week a wash, lose, then momentum becomes a factor as does over all health.

That new D1 baseball poll is the most ridiculous load of nonsense I have seen in quite some time. Dropping both Tennessee and Arkansas completely out of the top 10 while keeping Clemson at 3 after they got swept by NC State is utter stupidity.

D1 screwed the poll up this week , Clemson at 3 after getting swept and Oregon , Oregon St and UC Irvine 6-7 and 8 is laughable
