Are hog fans getting worried about Mustain?

True True. It also just seems to me that UT should be pursuing WR's and DB's more.

Remember we lost out on Chris Simms, Eli Manning, and Ken Dorsey all the same year. That left us with Casey Clausen, AJ Suggs (xfer to GT), Joey Matthews, and John Rattay. Not knocking CC but I would have loved to have any of the first three.

[i've said it before on another MM thread that ND has two top ranked QBs listed on rivals and many speculate that Jimmy is going ND too. I know Uban retained a great recruit from Utah for next year and south carolina over Cutcliff and UT?

i like our chances.

I've seen similar things about the ND situation. Why would Mustain want to go where Jimmy Clausen is set up to go? Unless he thinks he's just that good. As goo goo as everyone up in Irish town is over JC, that would be the last place I'd want to go. UT for Cut and USC for Spurrier would be the two choices I'd consider.

I think we are good for a while at QB, if we loose him, and loose clausen (break the curse!) then i have no problem. It would be nice just to piss off other SEC schools by picking any of them up though....

Maybe would should just ditch the offense altogether. We should go after the #1,2 and 3 punters and kickers every year as well as awesome defensive players. We'll just let the defense try and win for us. Whenever we get the ball we punt or kick a field goal. Oh wait...we just tried that. Nevermind.

I would take Mustain over Clausen. I feel that he has played a tougher brand of High School football. He had two nationally televised games that he excelled in. I am not even sure that Clausen is really the best QB out there for next year. Willy Korn ( a Clemson commit) is very good. His school (Byrnes) just won it's fourth state title in a row. He was the starter as a Soph. and this year as a Junior. He is the best QB I have ever seen come out of my home state of South Carolina.

Much as i hate to say it, i think this kid is gods gift to the QB. From what i have read, he is unreal. Now this could all be hear-say, but it was from non-objective websites such as scout.com and rivals.

Or he could be another Chris Leek

67, I'm kind of thinking the same thing. I think a lot of this is for show.

No. They make great rocking chairs and extra-sharp cheddar.
