Are JJJ and Phillips close?

I wouldn’t be upset if they sat out until the NCAA Tournament.

Give them rest and have them 100%.

I see your point, but I’d like to have Phillips back for development purposes. He has so much upside and if he can get out going in March, it would do wonders for this team.

This team needs to develop some continuity to have any chance of a tournament run. Not going to get that by sitting then the rest of the regular season. Would be nice to have them both back at least by the time Arkansas comes to town.

I think he could make more money by coming back next year.

He’s probably a 3rd rounder at best right now

There are only two rounds, so….

Anyways, he would get picked in the second round I’m sure. Returning would be best for him barring a phenomenal finish to the season, though.

I think that's the plan. No reason to bring 'em back now. Our seeding is 3-5.. Personally, I don't see a big difference and all will bring a tough opponent. I'd sit 'em, take my beatings and hit the tournament healthy and as rested as possible. See if we can get hot at the right time and make some noise. About all that's left for this team this season.

JJJ needs to come back Saturday. This team needs playing time together to work out of this funk. We already saw how rusty JJJ was when he returned from the knee.

Brother, hope springs eternal but I don’t see this team getting past the second round. Or we could suddenly have an awakening and reach the Final Four. They are just too Jekyll and Hyde. Our chances are down to a flip of the coin no matter who we play.

This is not a knock on these kids at all. I believe they’ve played their hearts out most of the time. My hat is off to each of them. Not sure what the problem is but, the times I’ve watched them, it surely wasn’t a lack of effort.
