If we were voting democrat, I dont see why not? Hillary is the worst thing that could happen to our troops.

Charles Rangel probably thinks so since in his view all the troops are disadvantaged and predominantly AA.

Yes, I know several that are voting for Obama including two that are currently still in Kuwait & Iraq

In fact, I would say I know men/women who are voting for just about EVERY candidate

Fact is, everyone has their own choices and views.

To think that the men serving are just voting for 1-2 people is pure ignorance

After what Bill Clinton did to the military and this country as a whole (including Mr. Gore) most of the officers I know would rather commit hara-kiri than have Mrs. Clinton as the CIC.

That said, most military people will not be voting in the primaries since they have more pressing issues right now.

FYI, what is the point in saying Obama is a Muslim having been told he isn't? Is it some type of "cool" way to put him down? Even knowing you are dead-wrong? Maybe that is the new hip thing to do these days....I dunno

Surely you have run into people who can be told something many, many times but still only hears what he/she wants to? It seems to happen a lot around here....

It's amazing how power denial is. You can simply say...that is not true...to the point that I wonder if you begin to believe it.

His father was a extreamist muslim,mother an athiest,now is that not correct.Didn't fit in with whites or blacks, by his own admission, I'm sure he is a pretty good,something,but, not CIC.Church of Christ he attends is not like a southern COC. I know this is right,sorry if you disagree.Just don't cut poeple down because they want to have a light-hearted VN,opinion.:)When you run for CIC you get disected/sliced/diced and canned.

I have an Italian last name and my middle name is Anthony. My Dad ran with the local Cleveland, OH mafia in his youth and my mother is an atheist, does that make me a member of La Casa Nostra?

Linda Chavez shares the same last name with Hugo Chavez, that must mean she's a Marxist/Socialist with maniacal anti-American opinions.

Sacha Baron-Cohen is a Jew. That must mean he is a hook-nosed, hunchbacked money grubbing little miser who is part of the Zionist movement that runs America.

Keith Ellison sounds fairly normal. In fact, he could be a member of the "right" CoC (meaning the Southern CoC, right Steve?).

Steve, you're welcome to your opinion, but there are so many other reasons why Obama isn't fit to be President. Focusing on his middle name or on events concerning his parents that he has no control over is both small-minded and un-Christian.

Some will, Some won't

The idea that all troops think the Democrats "want them to fail" or "telling them how bad they are doing" is pure fiction and used much more for political gain rather than reality in/around Iraq and the Middle East (at least, from my personal experience).

Do some troops feel that way (In my own opinion)? Sure...many are right-wing till death. But, there are many others that are not.

I am sure the military on the whole will vote towards the right (and in many instances they have a good reason to ::cough cough FUNDING cough cough::) but people who have this idea of men in Iraq actually get "down" about the left-wing's support for the war? Just more political fairy tales.

I have yet to hear a single person tell me such nonsense and nobody I know has ever told me of hearing such a conversation as well. It wasn't until I came on home that I actually started hearing all of this type of talk.

But, you know....there are many men serving in Iraq. They all have different stories. They all have different ideas. Maybe some are tired of hearing whatever they are hearing.
