I'm kinda with the OP.

It's a little surprising so few seem alarmed by the quality of the QB talent on the roster.

I in no way believe that with all the talent we brought in at qb that we have 0 qbs with the ability to be very successful. I'm more worried about the coaching of the qbs. One or two not panning out is expected but not all. Other schools are winning big with freshman. Look at the difference in Crompton when he who shall remain nameless helped him for a year. Coaching matters more than most want to think.

Did you happen to see Georgia lose and LSU struggle to beat Iowa in their bowl games? That's with a month to prepare for one game with a new starter. When your running the schedule we ran last year with a freshman or Worley it's dang impossible. When Worley was just starting to look good, he got hurt.

Peterman long term is the odd man out IMO. Just saw nothing in his short performance this season that could lead anyone to believe he is an SEC caliber QB. Just look around the country at the great freshman & RS frosh QBs who played (recall seeing a guy named Mauck?) and our guy Peterman could not carry nary a one of their jockstraps just based on his performance, could be nice guy with some skills at perhaps the FCS level, I just saw nothing leading me to believe he can play that position on The Hill.

Worley - Senior -

Peterman - Sophomore (RS)

Dobbs - Sophomore (RS burned)

Fergy - Sophomore

It's been a WHOLE SEASON working with these QB's. Only 1 wasn't utilized in a game. There must be something going on about Fergy for our coaches to not go ahead and RS or try to convince another QB to transfer.

When was the last time we had used 3 QB's in a season and they ALL came back? What about ALL 4 QB's.

Something needs to happen quickly because I'm starting to lose faith on how our coaches evaluate our Quarterbacks.

QB play had more to do with receivers and injuries than QB ability.

Our receiver corps was practically all Freshmen or RS Freshmen with no big boy game experience. One starter was a converted QB (North) and RB (Young). Pig was the only experienced receiver and he was a sophomore. Nobody stepped up at TE to be a dependable pass catcher. Downs played hurt all year.

By the Vandy game, North, the best receiver, was injured and Dobbs was also hobbling. The other QBs were too injured to play.

The receiving corps should be greatly upgraded in 14 and we can expect much better QB play regardless of who wins the job.
