If Jones can bringing Tee Martin and sign a few top tier recruits, he wil have a decent crowd for the O&W game. Don't expect a sell out. I hope he can win 7 games his first year and get to a bowl. Maybe in 2014, more people will show. If I didn't live in Oklahoma, I would be there. I hope Jones has the team ready for OU in 2014.

I was at the FL, Bama, and Mo game this year. I wll be at the GA, SC games next year. I watch every minuteof every game no matter how bad it is. I have seen one win in the last two years. I go to all the big games no matter what so I don't need anyone referring to me as a bandwagon fan. I said that it is not my responsibilty to get the team going if they are not winning. I am paying top dollar for entertainment- not torture.

Personally I'm just tired of waiting and seeing. We had to wait and see with fuller to turn it around. Wait and see for what kiffin would do. Wait and see what Dooley would and wouldn't do. Had to wait and see what hart and company ended up not doing. I guess I'm still just holding on the home run hire comment hart made. This is a sac fly right now. No matter what anyone says, this was our plan "e." the reason we are all hopeful is bc that's what the university has told us to be and expect. They can fail and make plan e hires bc they know people will show up to orange and white game no matter what and othe games. From now on, and until I'm proven wrong, I'm in wait and see mode. This means I'm holding back til the next season begins. This means I'm not using my season tickets. I will watch from home and hope. I refuse to give my all if my university, which has a proven track record, of not giving its all to find the right coach instead of having to settle for plan e.

Too far to travel with 4 kids if the team is irrelevant. I have attended many many games in my day...many as a student, many more as a spouse of a student, some after we both graduated, and even several after I moved to crapabama. Heck I even made the Music City bowl where we lost to UNC. I just don't see this team as worth going to all the trouble of driving to see when I can easily watch on TV or ESPN3. I do not want to support this hire so I won't. The rest of you do whatever you think is best. I won't tell you what to do, I will tell you that if we blindly support this kind of hire, we will not be back to relevance anytime soon. Again...whether you like the butch jones hire or not, you are still Vol fan in my opinion,

Well the good thing about the Orange and White game is it is a win-win situation, as there is no other team to beat us and rub it in our face. I will no doubt be there with my boys. It is hard to wait all year with no Vol football anyhow. I only have to drive in from West Knoxville , so it's not like I have to put great effort and expense into it. I think it would be encouraging for the new coaching staff to see a full stadium singing Rocky Top.:) or it might scare 'em...

PLEASE STOP THE FKIN WHINING PEOPLE! Bama sucked when THEY filled the stands! They went 6-6 that season! BUT THE NATION,AND MOST IMPORTANTLY RECRUITS,TOOK NOTICE!!! Now look at Bama! Part of the reason for their success was filling the stadium and the positive publicity seen by all. I`m not saying to mortgage your home or fly in from Moscow! Just saying I`m a disabled person and unable to afford regular season games,so I AM WALKING IF I HAVE TO! I AM SURE WE HAVE 102000 FANS WHO ARE ABLE TO MAKE IT NO PROBLEM!!! People had a reason to pack it out. We are having to take the wait and see approach again and people aren't sold on it. We have a reason not to fall for this again. People aren't gonna buy in like we did Dooley because it hurt, wasted money, and wasn't worth the time. It's unfair to butch, but in today's economic state, people are tight and don't wanna waste money. Can't call them non-Vols for that.

Look,I`m on fkin SSI and don`t own a fkin car! I understand people are disappointed! I FULLY FKIN UNDERSTAND THE FINANCIAL REALITIES FACING PPL!!
