Are many of us really getting a little too over excited about Rogers and Ambles being here. I know its a good thing but for some reason this reminds me whole lot of the Marlon Brown situation. There was a lot of sources who said he was a Vol, then he was a dog.

If neither of these kids come to UT, there will be a meltdown on the board. I hate to be negative but alot of folks on here are very excited about this almost being a done deal.

Anyway, we can only hope and Go Vols!

I believe we will get one of the two but not both. Even with one, we will be fantastic at WR! Put one with Hunter, Milton and Meline and we are sitting real pretty for years to come. Go VOLS!

Keeping up with recruiting is not for the faint of heart. I think we have a shot to get both, will we? I don't know but I have to have a positive attitude. I'm a Tenn VOL and we have to have a positive attitude. It's a part of what makes the big orange special and why we never give up, never surrender! GBO

No. Not really. This board may melt down but that's more because there are so many immature posters.

UT gets credibility by these guys showing up. Unless it turns out that Kiffin is pulling some kind of stunt and sent Ambles to recruit one of the visitors, his effort just to get to K'ville is a PR coup. However I don't think there's anyone at UT this weekend that CLK is trying to recruit to USC.

This very much seems like Ambles being drawn back to his first love. This guy was vested before CLK left. If some of the EE's and players can get in his ear about what Kiffin did not only to them but to him... I can very much see him being a Vol on Wednesday.

And FTR... this is coming from the guy who has constantly been telling you that Ambles wasn't gone until the ink is dry. I don't know what he might do... I don't think he is sure yet either. But the evidence says he's still very much interested in being a Vol.

I'll play your game.

Let's try to project the odds and I will go first.

Odds we get Ambles -- 33%
Odds we get Rogers -- 60%

Odds that we get both IMO----15%
Odds that we get one IMO--- 75%
Odds that we get neither IMO---25%

Thank you Bob and tell me what I have won for playing.

I know nothing specific relating to the Rogers situation but had a family member whose college selection had a lot to do with matching up and rooming with one of their best friends. It is a very powerful draw in my opinion and that is why I have moved Rogers from 33% to 60%. It is still quite possible that we could get neither and this could be a repeat of Marlon Brown but I am cautiously optimistic at this time.

What were your odds we would get Bryce last year?:)

Rodgers is who I want out of the two. Both would be fantastic, but if we only get one...Rodgers is the guy!

:good!:

Ambles was by far and away the most impressive WR I saw in either all star game.

Rogers has great measurables and may have the better upside but Ambles consistently got open against the best of the best. Ambles is ready to contribute wherever he goes as a Freshman.

I have a feeling CLThompson has a few words of wisdom for Ambles concerning Kiffin.

Color me silly, but 15, 75, & 25 doesn't make 100.

Odds we get Ambles -- 33%
Odds we get Rogers -- 60%

Odds we get both is 33% x 60% = 20%
Odds we get neither is 67% x 40% = 27%
Odds we get only one is 13% + 40% = 53%

Thank you Bob and tell me what I have won for playing.

Second set of probabilities fixed based on your original set. Sorry, I know it is OC but it was bugging me.
