I know some of you are hoping there is an arkansas-like hire that we were planning all along. But there never was. We dont make an official offer to charlie strong if we had a big fish lurking. What if strong accepted....then what? Say "oh just kidding?" Our next coach is someone below the level of strong.....whatever that is. Disappointing but true.

Show me where the Athletic Dept formally gave him an offer? Who's to say Cheek didn't go in there, tell him what was going on and if he went along with it, he would guarantee him a raise at his current gig?
