For the spring game. I think it's great. All you haters can kick rocks.

@espn_afcsouth: .@ArianFoster will return to the University of Tennessee this weekend for the first time. It's UT's spring game. #Texans

This is great.

Also, another great player that I never hear about being on campus is Witten. Does he ever come back?

Good for Arian. We need his support at this phase of rebuilding. The best RB in the league standing on your side line helps with recruiting.

My favorite fantasy football running back. He has helped me win my leagues title the last 2 years. Proud that he is a VFL as well. Everybody should always treat him as such!

Can't believe he hasn't come back to campus at least once since he has left.

He gave his all for Tennessee and was responsible for several of our big wins. He also returned for his senior season and because of poor coaching in his senior season, his NFL draft stock fell.

Yet, there are those that dog him out because of his fumbles. So, he probably wanted to distance himself from those fans.

I would guess that now that we have a new coaching staff that has reached out to him, he is willing to come back to the spring game.

The negative comments that are posted on here, do matter.....

Why even bring it up?

Because its so true!

My dream would be for my son to play football at UT.
But if he did, I would avoid this forum like the plague,
if he happened to make a mistake on the field.

The vitriol that is spewed by some here is amazing. :banghead2:

awesome! always good to have former players come back, especially when they are well known by recruits and highly regarded in the NFL

He was there last summer.

Wait.. Witten was around the program last summer?? That can't be right. Dooley was HC last summer. Iirc he had a closed door policy towards former players so not saying u r lying just that the year is off.

Also, I'm glad to see foster coming around as that's great for the team and help players learn not listen to all the negative and fight through it with ur head up.

One last thing...his mom started a thread a bit back and she mentioned he had come on campus a while back. So not the first time on campus since leaving according to her.
