All is forgiven,it's time to circle the wagons and get Tennessee back on top,AF and other current NFL Vols are showing their support for CBJ and our program. The retired NFL Vols are on board also, it can only help recruiting. :twocents:

Can't believe he hasn't come back to campus at least once since he has left.

Given the vile spite so many fans spewed his way, I'm surprised he's coming at all. The Butch vibe must be resonating in every Vol past and present for this to happen.

Only because they're has been no coach in the past 3 yrs that hasn't welcomed back previous players! I think that has been proven, considering the ones that has already come back! Coach Jones is all about the future of Tennessee and welcoming back VFL's is a step forward to the direction we need to go in! Welcome back Arian and all the past players! We finally have a coach that recognizes the past players and they're impact to the big U!

Because its so true!

My dream would be for my son to play football at UT.
But if he did, I would avoid this forum like the plague,
if he happened to make a mistake on the field.

The vitriol that is spewed by some here is amazing. :banghead2:

Best fans in the world!

He gave his all for Tennessee and was responsible for several of our big wins. He also returned for his senior season and because of poor coaching in his senior season, his NFL draft stock fell.

Yet, there are those that dog him out because of his fumbles. So, he probably wanted to distance himself from those fans.

I would guess that now that we have a new coaching staff that has reached out to him, he is willing to come back to the spring game.

The negative comments that are posted on here, do matter.....
Well said!

I have said that a hundred times. If any of my sons are good enough to play at a high level program I might have o go Amish for their college years

All of the remarks towards Foster and yet no one says a word about Cory Anderson.

If I can can forgive him. ...Foster's fumbles are nothing.

I can. He didn't even like being at Tennessee before all the fumble business. Butch must be a miracle worker, because I really don't think even Fulmer could have gotten him back this soon. Maybe Arian is on a forgiveness streak or something. Either way we need to give him a very warm reception. It's time to mend the fences.

For the spring game. I think it's great. All you haters can kick rocks.

@espn_afcsouth: .@ArianFoster will return to the University of Tennessee this weekend for the first time. It's UT's spring game. #Texans

Welcome home Arian...Have a great time!

Butch must have sent him an email in pterodactyl.

Seriously, I admit to being upset by the fumbles when they happenned. Heat of the moment reaction to the game. It happens. What bothered me about AF was his meltdown when he did the "pterodactyl" interview. Not all fans were being dumbasses. He responded to the ones who were by blaming all the fans. He could have handled it better at the time IMO. But that was then, this is now. Hopefully rebuilding bridges will benefit both sides and promote healing.

Really glad to see him coming back. Coach Jones is doing all the right things on building this program up and it starts with our former players!

Haha I will never forget my only interaction with Arian! On O&W day, his junior year I was the 3rd in line for autographs. He called me a p***y for wanting his autograph marked with an orange sharpie. Funniest/ most awkward thing that happened to me that day.

...cool story bro..
