This isn't about the past guys, Arizona ***** slapped the gators. Point of the thread. Gators don't get butt hurt we actually beat the ranked team we played last week.

I realize where you're coming from, but it's also true that home football games against UF are always big recruiting weekends for basketball. And, it makes sense to recognize the basketball team at Neyland when most of the top basketball recruiting targets will be there.

It's a natural result of UF being good at both sports.

Oh I understand he recruiting angle...UF recognized our B2B hoops team and handed out championship rings before the '07 UF-UT football game in Gainesville. I don't follow basketball recruiting that closely, but I'm sure we had some key prospects in town that weekend.

In hindsight I should have booed Dan Werner for wasting a scholarship for four years.

I like how we have rival fans that come over here and constantly defend their team. I hope we don't have dumba** fans over on their forums doing the same because it's really pathetic. You know it's pathetic because fan bases are made up of hundreds of thousands of people and there are only a handful of them here doing it. There is reason for that...

Seriously... what do you expect when you go to a rival site? I don't post on other forums but I do read them occasionally and rival fans talk crap about us all the time. Not sure why we seem to have a few people here that get bent out of shape and feel the need to butt in and talk trash in return. If you're going to invite yourself to a place that doesn't like you, you should have thicker skin.

Too bad that won't register with any of you. You'll still go to rival sites defending your team and talking crap in their house because you're senseless. I don't mind talking football and basketball with you guys but your constant need to respond to every single negative comment about Florida and Kentucky with an added Tennessee insult gets really old. Bashing rivals is a common practice, every fan base does it and the fact that you have to go around defending your team every time their name is spoken just means you're hopeless. I'm glad the other 99.99999999% of your fans comprehend how pointless and pathetic it is.

You're a Florida fan stalking a Tennessee forum.

Seeing as this community was created for him(Tennessee fans), I don't even think it's possible for him to stalk you. He's where he's supposed to be and you're in his house. You have it backwards on who the stalker and stalkee are. Your presence makes you the stalker by default.

This is Freak's house, and if I'm being disrespectful to him, he'll be sure to let me know. As for the locals, I post and respond respectfully to those who do the same...on this message board and countless others.

When Freak decides rival fans are no longer welcome, on the Around the NCAA board no less, you might have a valid point. Until then, ignore me (if you can) and go along your merry way.
