Arizona Postgame Incident

I don’t normally hope we play a team twice because I don’t believe a whole lot in wanting revenge games in general. Like, a good team is a good team so why would you want to have to play a good team again? That said, while I am impressed with Arizona as I was last year too, to me they are a very beatable top 10 team, and if we have to play a top 10 team down the stretch of the tourney, I hope it’s them. If our defense got another shot at them on a neutral court, able to get those starting bigs in foul trouble, I think we win by 10+ and given the end of game antics from them boy would I love to see it.

Other notes: they are big everywhere. Was very impressed with Tubellis #10 composure. That guy plays with hardly any emotion (not a bad thing in this case), Uber consistent. On the opposite side of the coin, kerr is a royal douche. Ramey is a 5th year senior that acts like a freshman. And ballo also has the attitude of 6th grade that’s been held back to third grade. Those three will be the reason they can’t go all the way.

The game ended with the ball on that side of the court.
That is true, but Ramey and Kerr still walked toward the Tennessee bench jawing instead of walking back towards their own bench area. Kerr is a problem child and has some troublesome behavior. Plavsic, unfortunately, has gone a bit rogue with his actions. Never hurt your teammates by behavior that can result in a technical which can, in turn, change momentum.

Help me remember...Wasn't it Kerr last year in Knoxville that got a technical foul? He really acted "foolish" the entire game last year IIRC. As far as Plavsic I read an article today somewhere trashing CRB for calling out Uros. The writer made the statement that the technical on UP had zero outcome on the game and Rick was being dishonest pretending it did. He either did not watch the game and understand the CLEAR outcome it had or he's just writing something to get clicks (like me). IDK

Yes, he mocked a ref after a call against him I believe. I think he clapped for him sarcastically or something like that.

Yes, Kerr was quite the hot dog last year. As far as the writer goes, if he thinks the technical had no outcome on the game, he just doesn’t have a clue. At that point, Uros had 6 points and he finished with 6 points, not to mention the momentum lost during that sequence.

Our fans cheered when our guy did it on the diamond, so we can’t say a thing about it
Are you sure it was a middle finger? Did you actually watch the video or just a single picture taken from an angle appearing to show the bird?

Entirely different situations you goober.
I’m so glad I’ve graduated from idiot and moron to goober. Thanks!!!
would Rashaun Gaulden have been a better example of our fans’ double standards? I get that it wasn’t right in front of the players’ bench, but I still don’t care. Uros brought that garbage on by acting like a doofus as he did against Michigan.

I watched it many times. It’s funny how sensitive and defensive you all are about this. Tony V didn’t even deny that’s what it was. I don’t care either way. I also don’t care what Arizona did. If people want to be idiots, let them. All I cared about was getting the win.

Gaulden did it to the fans but please correct me if I’m wrong. Arizona player was CLEARLY flipping our players the birds after the game was over. Everything Uros did was in game. Why do you hate Uros? It is very evident in your posting.

Hate Uros? That's strong. I dislike his antics because he acts in a ridiculous manner, which his own coach acknowledged. I don't hate the man, don't try that manipulation trash on me. He drives me crazy and always has, that's a far cray from "hate". I'm not obligated to pledge undying devotion to everyone who wears orange and I won't condone things I don't like in other players just because it's one of our guys. Yeah, Zona flipped the bird at the bench, but that guy doesn't play for us. I hate that he did it, it's trash, and it was trash when Beck did it and Gaulden. I'm not a sheep. It was trash, even if at the fans or not right in the area of a player. I don't see a huge difference. Classless is classless.

also, I'd argue that flipping off fans is worse than flipping off a player that the guy has been going back and forth with all night.

Frankly I was there and it wasn’t a bird. But you’re free to think as you want-I don’t want to be sensitive or defensive especially since you don’t care either way.

Some of these refs are betting on games.
Not in first person, but they are making money on the side.
No way a professional is as bad as some of these guys appear..
It's the elephant in the room the NCAA doesn't want to discuss.
It is just a matter of time with the embrace of NIL $$$ and legal gambling.
