Over the last two seasons, Moe played 1,624 snaps and earned a 67.4 PFF grade this past season after earning a 68.5 PFF grade in 2023. According to PFF, Moe is an elite pass blocker from the guard position (88.3 grade in 2024) and an average run blocker (60.1).
His pass blocking stats this year were better than Spraggins and he made 2nd Team All-ACC. So there's that. I think he gave up one sack? I'm sure you can google it.I'm not familiar with him. Anyone have an opinion on whether or not he's an upgrade over Spraggins? When I think of RG, I think of Spraggins getting blown up on 3rd & 1 and 4th &1 on back-to-back plays against Vanderbilt. Hopefully Moe is better than that. His PFF run grade doesn't suggest that he's a road grader though.
I wonder why he was voted 2nd team all-conference in 2023 but not 2024. Was he hurt? Did he put on too much weight and get a step slow? Most likely the Big 10 players are just better. Either way, 6 OGs were named all-conference, and Moe wasn't one of them. Not trying to be a hater just trying to set reasonable expectations. 6-2/340 is not your typical NFL body type.
You and I both need to get our facts straight... Arizona is in the Big-12, not the Big 10 (as I said) or the ACC (as you said). Moe was all-conference in 2023 when Arizona was in the Pac-12. But this year he was not all-conference (Big 12). Apparently - Kansas, Kansas State, West Virginia, Utah, BYU, Cincinatti, and Arizona State all have at least one offensive lineman that the media thinks is better than Moe. So expecting him to be an upgrade over Spraggins (which is what I'm trying to figure out) does not seem like a reasonable expectation. His pass blocking stats this year were better than Spraggins and he made 2nd Team All-ACC. I don't really care to argue the contention because it's not something that can be proved or disproved. He's a solid player. He had great pass blocking stats this year. I don't need to know any more than that. How many transfers have we brought in that didn't turn out to be great pickups? You and I both need to get our facts straight... I’m not looking to argue either. I don’t have an opinion of how he is. Just looking at credentialsI don't really care to argue the contention because it's not something that can be proved or disproved. He's a solid player. He had great pass blocking stats this year. I appreciate the correction though, for sure. I read that somewhere and didn't fact-check it.
