I have heard several times in this game, that Mariota is the best player in the country. Please explain to me how he is better than Gurley.

I agree with you, but to be honest the UGA offensive line is insane. Michel is averaging 9.7 ypc and Chubb is doing 6.3 ypc.

Not that Mariota doesn't have a lot of help from teammates.

Really hope Rich Rod turns down Florida. He'll be their first offer. Count on it.

Florida is the bigger job no doubt, but would he leave AZ? He hasn't been there that long and it seems like he's got a good thing going now. The last time he left for the bigger job/more money, it didn't exactly end well. If florida offers, I think he passes IMHO

Rich Rod seems better suited at programs with less pressure. He may not want to move up in the offseason.

AZ already had a top ranked QB de commit earlier this summer - I think he leaves for UF or if Miles takes the Michigan job - LSU (where the de commit landed) and lol at Oregon and the once again gaudy uniforms

You talking about the team that went for 495 yards, or the team that went for 446 yards?

The one that gave up 5 sacks to an un ranked defense. Oregon is supposedly the #2 team in the country. Have you ever seen a top 5 teams line of scrimmage look like that going against an outmatched opponent?

Add to that, they can't tackle. They are top 15 maybe.

Came in here to post this exact thing. After going to bed last night that thought hit me, how good could Rich Rod be if he was at UF where he could always get the athletes he needs? He's got recruiting history in SoFL so he's not coming behind the 8-ball there. I think UF would be foolish not to at least inquire.

They're playing a patchwork o-line, sort of like us. Some FR some walk-ons this isn't their "normal" o-line.

That's either incredibly bad luck with injuries or piss poor recruiting. A top 5 team shouldn't be playing walk ons on the o line.

Their offensive and defensive lines are athletes not true "lineman". I am glad this happened so we can stop watching ESPN drool talking about them!

They have had an o-line player go down pretty much every game. Had to shift guys around and start freshmen. I think we see a couple more losses with them this year.

It would be fun to watch CBJ match up against his old mentor every year.
