I like it, but a big part of that is probably because I have been listening for so long. For a long time it was the only thing on the air sportswise. The other choice here is not as good (106.7 the fan). They have Boots and someone else on there and you could easily fall asleep listening. I turn to them when 1045 talks hockey or something.


...and I refuse to listen to am radio so I don't even know what is on there

Neither are any good. 1045 is practically the Commodore Homer Network, especially in the morning.

Do you know of any good stations around here? If so, let me know. Those are the only 2 I know of. I am open for suggestions




As far as the press conference goes, it looks like it was never going to happen. They have not said anything else about it since the 5pm break

their parents went to AD Frank Broyles and complained about the offense being run . They said they were promised a wide-open passing attack and instead the Hogs are running the ball about 70% percent of the time. According to radio reports these freshmen players and their parents indicated to Broyles they might transfer if the coaching staff doesn't start throwing the ball more. If I were Coach Nutt I would kick all of these " me guys" off the FB team. For any player/s especially freshmen to be so self centered is not only ridiculous but should be totally unacceptable as well. If they are either dismissed from the team or transfer it will be interesting to see how many coaches will cow-tail to their demands and take them in. One coach who won't is Phil Fulmer.

Good thing you aren't a head coach. The players are only asking for what they were promised.

Looks like the "news" part of the story might have been right, just not the "conference." Williams is leaving, and it seems that Mustain and Cleveland are less than solid.
