Arkansas State: Inside Enemy Camp

Oku is gone IIRC.

As a ASU HC you never, ever, lose to Memphis. As far a public enemy #1 goes, Arky wins. The politicians worked against ASU for decades to help Arky, which included making sure Arky never played ASU for fear of what it might do to the Arky program. The politics have improved of late and more funding has been going toward ASU than in the past.

Football is big to ASU. On campus enrollment is about half UTK's size. Proud tradition with many former NFL players and well known head coaches. But not on the SEC level as a program at all. They are in for a beat down Saturday IMO. Our Vols take care of business.

I enjoy learning things about our upcoming opponent. I was disappointed that Fackrel got injured. I like to see what all the talk is about. Thanks Freak for the best site on the web!:eek:k:

I've been looking forward to this game...My wife's cousin is the new offensive coordinator at ARKY St... he was at UNC with Fedora the last few years until he took this job... growing up,we used to watch UT games at his house with me,him, and his dad...so I know he's excited to be coaching in Neyland,he's been in the stands numerous times... just a little tidbit for this weeks game...he's from Dickson,TN and played ball at MTSU...NB4 cool story bro...:)

Nice interview. Things lot that help both sides and promote both schools. Well done!

Our 'hate' starts with a team that won't play us.....the pigs.
Anyone that we could develop a 'hate' for, would become a distant 2nd.

Edit: I misread that. I thought he was talking about SEC opponents.
Yes, Memphis St would be #1 in the Tennessee list.

Why won't Arky play you?

Very cool interview. Thanks for sharing. Wally Pip of ASU was pretty funny. I had forgotten about him.
