6' 5" 185 combo guard
Kennesaw, GA

Hoop Mountain: Top 10 performers
? 2012 SG Armani Moore, Hoop Planet: Moore continued his strong performance during the early part of the evaluation period and showed why he's starting to draw attention from some high-major programs. The 6'5 guard loves to attack the basket but he's also a respectable shooter, which makes him tough to defend.

Moore says he averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 blocks, and 2.5 steals per game last year as a junior at Swainsboro High School. He has transferred to Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia to finish his high school basketball career.

Battle of the classics tounament:
Armani Moore (Hoop Planet), a 6-foot-4 2012 SG, Mount Paran Academy - Moore can score the ball, as shown in his 41 point outburst Saturday morning. He thrives in transition but when the game slows down he can find his way to the basket for strong finishes. He showed a much improved jumper this weekend. Moore has an offer from Cincinnati with interest from Memphis, Alabama and Florida State

Tennessee lands Georgia combo guard

Talk about it in Basketball Recruiting Board
Last summer, Tennessee was very intrigued with Armani Moore. However, the Vols were unsure if they needed another wing.

Fast forward to Tuesday, Cuonzo Martin and his staff have decided that they can't wait any longer and landed a commitment from Moore.

A 6-foot-4 combo guard at Kennesaw (Ga.) Mt. Paran Christian, Moore had a big senior season.

More of a natural two with athleticism, he is good enough off of the bounce to slide over and play some at the point guard position.

The three-star prospect ran with Hoop Planet during the summer. He joins a recruiting class that already includes juco forward D'Montre Edwards and three-star small forward Derek Reese. Five-star Jarnell Stokes, of course, arrived on campus early.

As long as he can handle the ball halfway decent and hit a fair amount of his shots then he'll be an upgrade over anyone else we have besides Golden.

I read he's a SG but can slide over and play point at times kind of a combo. Basically a taller trae I suppose, but I'd still be expecting a hard push for Fabyon.

Yea but that's not we're this scholly is coming from.

I wonder if he wanted to stay? That'd have sucked!

Yea I know, just was mentioning.

What do you mean wanted to stay? Wouldn't the only way he could play be to transfer to a school with a different major/masters program?
