What the hell are you even talking about? Tennessee is clearly 40 points better than Mizzou. And army won because Mizzou dropped a wide open 2 pointer. Army lost to Ball St and Navy and even UConn and WKu moved the ball on them. They are terrible. Tennessee is 4-5 TDs better than Army and it’s not even a debateUsing your logic, would beating any team this year that we did be considered a fluke for them or do we just suck like Mizzou?

Then why run from them?
So you are saying Army would beat us. It’s okPlaying Army between Florida & LSU serves absolutely no purpose. Non conference games should either 1) prepare you for conference games by talent or style of play (army does neither) or 2) give you a chance to heal up, play younger guys for depth (Army doesn’t do that with their style of play). If you are going to schedule Army or any option dominated team, it should be first game when you have extended time to prepare.

I get it we would not stop them.
He’s a major troll. Look at his posting historyWhere in the hell did I say that? Reading comprehension wasn’t very good for you I see.
Playing Army serves no purpose to better your team if you are Tennessee. 1) Tennessee plays no option dominated teams in the SEC so preparing for them is a wasted week practically 2) the blocking schemes used by option teams tends to lead to lower leg injuries which you don’t want. 3) Playing a highly spirited team like Army when you are between 2 major conference games doesn’t lead to best performance
I’d say Army has little chance to stop Tennessee’s offense. But the game, played in between 2 major conference rivals & vs a team style you’ll never see again, makes no sense.
