ARMY AA game notes:

Is Ambles fast? It is a strange questions, but I didn't think he was super quick. So I am wondering why he is returning kicks...

just curious

returning punts.....need to have good vision....great hands...and the ability to make one person miss

he has all that...and no he is not a true burner in any sense but he can move

Ambles just scored a touchdown on a perfect pass from Brunetti. He dropped it between the CB and S and Ambles went up over the CB to grab it. Pretty pass.

Well, according to Rivals, he "toasted" Elam and "burnt" Keenan Allen. Must have some speed to do that to the 2 best 5star safeties in the land...

Nice...sounds like another beast to get excited about. Now if we can just block for next years QB we should have a pretty good passing attack.

All more reason to see Teague move over to CB, where he can actually get some playing time. I just don't see him on the field over Jones, Moore, Thompkins, Ambles, Milton, or Meline... The scary thing is I think Teague can be a stud slot guy, but we are just going to be loaded at WR for years to come.

really hope sticks(mccartney) comes to miami...i heard he is..he got the grades now...but nothing official until nsd tho...

I think Gerald Jones could be a descent slot next year... and Taegue being moved to the secondary I think is only inevitable. Kiffin wants those tall rangy athletes on the outside (Thompkins, Ambles, Milton) although Moore will probably start next year, but Teague could be very useful at CB especiall if Rogan leaves

I hope he comes to miami also. And just saw the other day he is a cousin of ocho cinco. I'm prob late on that.

Palardy won kicking skills challenge for the East from what I could tell...Hit one from 40 and 50.

DE battle:

(Gator) Powell
(Vol) Smith

Powell has smoked Smith so far....in obstacle course and 40yd dash

Good to see these future SEC guys go after each other though

Here is one for you. After practice on Wed. the coaches told Palardy to line up against Elam and run a pattern on him. Palardy smoked him for a 60 yard touchdown catch. So he has hands and can run as well.
