being my 21st year in the Army, i will definately be rooting for the Army; however, i would not put any money on them. with the ongoing wars, many of the cadets the Army would get are now going to Navy and Air Force academies instead; some have told me it is much safer to be in the Navy/Air Force than the Army/ Marine Corps. if you have never been to an Army/Navy game, you should go at least one time. the march on the field is impressive. GO Army!!!!!!!

I'll assure you that I have nothing to do with the standards being set for PFCs in the Army Reserve. I assume this one was a washout (that web belt has to be a size 54).

help we can get but this is ridiculous. the army has lowered their standards in the last few years. if you have a pulse we will take you. unless we back the draft or end these wars, you will see more people like this signing up. we are throwing tons of money at people to come in, but it is not enough. glad i had 15 years in before 9/11, so i have 21 years in now so i can go when i want to go. no way i would come in today and think about doing 20 years due to all the constant deployments.

Though the Marines officers are from Annapolis. I don't have any firsthand knowledge, but my grandpa is saying that they are really pushing for more students at the Naval Academy to become Marines.
