I have a son in the Army and a stepson in the Navy. Divided house between me and my wife during the game.

Go Navy! Beat Army! Grandad was a radar man in the Navy during Korea, great uncle was a pilot in the navy during WW2, he was shot down in Solomon Islands and had a destroyer named after him.

I’ll always cheer for the boys in blue

After watching the game for as long as I can remember, there was one thing that was painfully obvious to me yesterday.
Somebody at the LINCOLN Financial Center invited Stevie Wonder in to paint the end zones. They looked absolutely awful and could have used the touch of Zack and friends who paint the Checkerboards at Neyland.

it could have been from the amount of precipitation they had.

The pregame and post game was a consistent lump in my throat and tear in my eye. Its the ultimate tribute to sports and country. This must be what women go thru when they watch Hallmark

Did not think about that but I am opposed to anything Philly and the Eagles outline you could see under the Army logo was disappointing to the point you couldn't tell which had overlaid the other. I did put in motion the "plans" I have always had to go see the game in person. Reached out to my old college roommate retired Lt Col and another friend who is a retired Col. and we are going next year. I've got the accommodations and they are getting the tickets.

this is a bucket list game for me. Probably above all the rest. I have no dog in the hunt but I just want to see the parade of cadets into the stadium, the presidential coin toss, the combined singing of the choirs, and the alma maters at the end. Oh, and a football game.
