I don't follow baseball closely but one of my friends is a pitcher and even he admits he's been somewhat surprised. I thought they'd fall off quite a bit.

They got whipped by WKU for like the 6th straight time earlier this year and I thought that's not a bad win for WKU. Now it's turned into a damn good win.

We've gotta get some better midweek games. VT, UVA, UofL, GT, Clemson are all doable games, especially if done at neutral sites that are distance neutral. I guess if you're not good, you're not good, but we also don't appear to be prepared for the step up in competition once SEC play rolls around.
