Arthur Brown, JR

Miami fans have been calling him massively overrated though.

Last year he barely made the field on D because he didn't understand the system and was getting outplayed. He was a beast on special teams though.

He's still 2nd team this year if he does stay at UM.

He was a true freshman last year though right? I'd welcome him and have faith that Thompson and Monte could get the best out of him.

Wow, I didn't realize he was rated that highly. I've heard that he hated playing for them though. He certainly must have the talent to be a great linebacker. I'd love to have him.

Here's a bit about Arthur from an article:

-Sophomore Arthur Brown has moved from outside to inside linebacker. Brown struggled last year despite being the team's top-rated recruit, but Shannon said he began flourishing in the new role toward the end of last season.

"It takes time," Shannon said. "The last two weeks of the season he was phenomenal at middle linebacker on scout team. Like Ray Lewis, when he first got here he was outside and he wasn't very good. When we put him in the middle, it was just different. Tavares Gooden played outside all those years and you put him at middle and he had a big year. For some reason, guys just see it at better."

Either

A. He comes here and redshirts the year he can't play (Which means it got approved by Miami)
or
B. He comes here, and pays out of pocket, doesn't play for a year, and doesn't lose any eligibility IIRC. (If it gets rejected)

If Miami didnt want Marve to come here why would they let Brown come here? Doesnt make any sense.... Brown was a much higher recruit than Marve....
