A hugely athletic line prospect, Jeffrey plays offensive tackle and defensive tackle for his Booker team. He has quick feet and is flexible. He commands a double team on nearly every play when he's on defense, and he'll need to learn to keep his pads lower and play with more leverage. He has the size, effort, and athletic ability to be a star on offense or defense on the next level - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.

"Former Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer and his staff made Jeffery a top priority last summer. New coach Lane Kiffin picked up where Fulmer left off."

Good job Kiff! I bet this kid is excited to play for Papa Kiffin too.

This is the sign of good things to come. The next couple of months should be interesting......

3* guy and #55 DT per Rivals... Scout likes him quite a bit more. Looks like he was leaning to S Florida until recently... I wonder if this is the Monte Kiffin effect at play?

Why are we competing with South Florida for recruits? We should be stealing recruits from Florida, not South Florida.

Florida offered him as did Clemson, FSU, and Georgia.

They cooled on him after his knee injury, but what the heck were we gonna do? Turn down an excellent prospect at a need position because Florida didn't want him? Get real.

S Florida was more or less the hometown school. The interest of other big time players apparently fell off after his injury. It could end up being somewhat of a sleeper pick. All the same, rankings of 16 per scout and 55 from rivals aren't bad. He's good enough to be well regarded by the better recruiting services... with some coaching and development he should be solid.
