Tennessee just isn't a playoff caliber team. Even if they won out and the committee let them into the playoffs, they won't go anywhere. Nico just isn't there yet and neither are the receivers. They can't make the plays that matter enough times. This was a totally beatable Georgia team and if you asked me at the beginning of the year I would have called this a 100% loss but I had hope they could actually win.

The defense got beat in the passing game but we lost this game because the offense didn't execute or score any points in the second half.

Hopefully 2025 Nico will finally be prime time. I just hope that we get more that one year of elite Nico before he bolts for the NFL. We don't need or want to be a QB development school. We need guys ready to play elite day 1.

Tonight is the saddest I've been in a while. I thought they would actually do it tonight and break the cycle of violence.

We are easily within the top 12 teams in the country. Committee has been rewarding teams for playing nobody

Yep. Committee does not want 5 SEC team in the playoffs though so they could screw us. I think they will switch us and UGA in the rankings next week. Hopefully we win out and should be in if other games go as they should.

Tennessee is better than Indiana, Penn State, Boise State, and whoever gets in from the Big 12. Even with our janky offense we can and would beat those teams.

This is a playoff team but I keep telling people: the CFP committee is the STUPIDEST way to determine who gets in. It’s a glorified beauty contest mixed with ESPN wanting ratings.

No other sport is like this. March Madness at least uses metrics and has enough spots to make people happy. College football is the dumbest league imaginable the way it is set up. We all know the Big 12, ACC, and G5 are flag football.

The problem is that the way our schedule and opponents played out we only have 1 decent win against Bama. The rest all turned out to be garbage teams. I'm not saying that Penn St or Indiana are better but the schedule is the schedule. The SEC made this bed with expansion now we must lie in it.

“Nico just isn’t there yet” is an incredibly casual take. If Carson Beck had to deal with anything resembling the pressure Nico was under, we win this game. Nico was collected, made good decisions, and made some stuff happen with his legs. The overthrow to Thornton happened because Thornton got bumped off his route and didn’t get downfield as fast as Nico expected.

“This was a beatable Georgia team.” Last week in Oxford was a beatable Georgia team. This week in Athens was a different animal. They are an excellent program loaded with talent at most positions. Their offensive line played like grown men tonight. We are getting close to the point where we can overcome being on the road against a team like that playing their A or B game, but we aren’t there yet. Linebacker depth bit us. Another year under coach Inge and those guys will be better.

If he doesn't get any better there's no need to bolt to the NFL

Our schedule is still much much tougher than both of theirs. I’m serious have a look at the garbage those two have played. Neither have beaten anyone as good as Florida

I agree that Indiana and PSU are fake good teams. I'm not concerned with that tho because if they let Tennessee in and we had to play on the road we would lose in the 1st round 100%. The team just isn't good on offense and you absolutely have to be to win in the modern NCAA

We shouldn't get in with the loss to Arky. Don't think we looked good enough tonight to sway favor.

We probably end up 1st or 2nd team out around 12-14 and I think that's the correct ranking. We're an above average team that could beat anyone or lay an egg against anyone. It is what it is.

We seriously get an F---- on deep balls this year. Hate to announce it, but deep balls were the sole reason 2022 felt so magical. Probably lose 3 or 4 that year without em

I don't disagree. I feel like they all get in with 1 or even 2 losses over us though. We don't have a strong argument to be in over any 1 loss teams. I think we end up 1st or 2nd out
