As Usual, The NBA Feeds Its Critics A Load Of Crow.

then enjoy your pick and rolls, emphasis on athleticism over skill and the always fun high pick and roll ad nauseum

AS long as the NBA continues to breed NBA players such as Shaq,Jordan,Bird,Kobe,Wade, and Lebron (now) they will continue to have young fans, such as college kids, etc.
a couple on that list would suffer mightily if teams could play a true zone

They have zone defense in the NBA which was going to create more ball movement. I actually don't like zone defense.

Hand checks and pick and rolls have always been around. The traveling and carries are and have been out of control. I think everyone would like to see them enforce those rules.

What do you mean by 1.5 steps?
the nba allows more steps (2.5) off the dribble than anyone else allows. that may have changed, but I don't believe so.

hand checks have not always been around. Pat Riley basically made them part and parcel to his defenses and they've now become the standard and it's absolutely ruining the game.

Well the '80s and '90s were the resurgance of the NBA and they had hand checking so I don't think that's the problem. Also I thought a few years back they really cracked down on hand checking. I know they can't hand check like they used to in the '80s or early '90s.

How do you take 2.5 steps?

you pick your feet up and put them down 3 times, with the third time the step being half as long as the previous 2.

The NBA sells copious numbers of "white collar" tickets in every market, except New Orleans, where there is no real corporate presence. The Association has no problem with their corporate sales.
I agree. but selling coporately doesn't necessarily translate in to the general white collar population as a source of entertainment......

but like i said, the future of the NBA is not in trouble financially, and at the end of the day, right now, that's all that matters.
