Hinshaw to Kentucky. Dammit




The Orange Zone is reporting that Kentucky has hired UT quarterback and receivers coach Darin Hinshaw. Hinshaw has coached at Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, and Georgia Southern after playing collegiate football for UCF and enjoying a brief playing stint in the NFL. Hinshaw is known for his recruiting prowess and is responsible for Tennessee landing Cordarrelle Patterson, who has been absolutely tearing up the SEC this season with 1,858 all-purpose yards. In hiring Hinshaw, is seems that Stoops is continuing to make a statement about strengthening Kentucky’s recruiting in the South.

Tennessee:*Butch Jones has hired Cincinnati assistants Mike Bajakian, John Jancek, Mark Elder, Steve Stripling, and Don Mahoney. *He retained Jay Graham and also hired former Auburn assistants Tommy Thigpen and Willie Martinez.

"Martin has been extended an offer to join Jones' new staff."

@JimmyHyams Darin Hinshaw told me he has not been hired at Kentucky, as of 2:40. Nick Reveiz has applied to be a GA at UT, Washington wants him as GA.

Tee Martin said he was offered the job a couple of days ago. Today was just a chance for "getting to know each other" with Butch Jones.
Tee Martin said he could tell "things were headed in the right direction" at UT. About the seriousness of his interest, he said "I'm here."
