sorry, little late post here.. just got back from the POST GAME CELEBRATION IN BOONE NORTH CAROLINA!!!

Took the goal posts, 1000-2000 people parading around downtown and on the campus with them, walked up the hill to the chancellor's house and left the goal posts in his driveway.. Team gets back here at about 10 o clock tonight and i cannot wait for that

I watched it on big ten network, as did almost everyone in Boone... craziest i've ever gone for a football game!!!

Can App. St. enter the top 25, or is that only for Division 1 teams?

Also, could App. St. play in a bowl game?

It cracks me up that the Appy State fans tore down there own goal posts when the game wasn't even played there. Enjoy the victory. That was awesome.

probably not, since NCAA rules forbid anyone from playing for more than one team at a time.

that, coupled with the travel logistics, make it almost impossible that ASU could BE cal, but I like where your head's at.

Appy State isnt D2. They are DI AA and they beat Wake Forest in 2000. Duke and Colorado also lost to DI AA schools last year.
