Well, if my TAX DOLLARS are paying for things at UT--which I know they are, then spend my portion on a scholarship for this young man.

All he has to do is catch one pass or block a kick for my payoff. He should be on the team to inspire others to work hard if not his skill.

What a role model!! Geez, he has not even been arrested, booked, indicted by the grand jury or placed on probation.

Phil: GIVE HIM THE SCHOLARSHIP!
Your tax dollars don't go to the Athletic Department.

Just give it to Stanley. If does nothing more than contribute at practice, he's a good guy to have around.

Who else would they give it to? And usually if a walk on gets a scholly it is a one year thing anyway.

I assume assumnu will be a starter on the FG and extra point special teams.

I'm expecting a blocked fg now.

Like others have said, if he does nothing else, maybe his work ethic will rub off on some other guys, if it hasn't already.

Fulmer announced today that two more players have been placed on scholarship for the 2006 season, wide receiver Stanley Asumnu and long-snapper Ryan West.
