We had been fairly well satisfied with our ATT U-Verse. But now they will probably get cocky with the lessened competition and jump way up on rates or get more hard-azz about what they require us to agree to.

Hope this turns out better than the XM/Sirius merger. Went from paying $4.99 a month to $7.99 a month and I recently dropped them when they sent me a letter saying my new rate would be $17.99 a month.

They call me all the time now, begging to come back but im not paying close to that for a product that hasnt improved over 10 years

The last 2 cars my wife and I bought had it built in with a free 6 month trial. We played with it a little the first car but I don't think we turned it on once with the second. Then the calls and letters started. I had to get down right rude with them to stop calling.

As streaming radio via smartphones and built in integration with cars and said phones become more prevelent, I see Satellite radio dying a slow death.

I've had Sirius for years. I love it because regular radio sucks. But if stern left, I'm not sure I would keep it

Att had an active partnership with dtv already. So this doesn't really lessen their competition.

I do believe the actual contract with the nfl network expires this year. And with the deal closing in 12 months. ...I highly doubt it this season.
