I hope Heyward gets straightened out before next season and becomes the star everyone anticipated him becoming. But for anyone to act like it's a travesty for him to not be playing regularly right now is just wrong. Blame it on whoever/whatever but he is screwed up right now, and it ain't gonna get fixed until the offseason. He went down looking twice last night on 7-8 pitches total.

Would have loved for the Astros to eliminate the Cardinals. Since they're not going to, you guys better

My objection isn't to taking Heyward out per se, but to replacing him with a bench guy who's had an OBP of .250 for the last month. Why play the guy who's sucked even more?

I'd guess this lineup was as much about Hamels as it was Blanton. Heyward's splits against lefties are pretty bad.

Good pitching from huddy and an even better reaction. We don't need to settle for 2 run lead.
