Things are decent here; hoping this will be the year my kid thinks that baseball's interesting enough to watch with his old man. The move to Cincinnati went well?

I still think even HOF-quality managers are wildly overrated as to how much they help the team. Two games in the standings, maybe? But I must admit that Fredi Gonzalez has opened my eyes a bit as to how much a really awful manager can hurt. Or at least appear from the outside to hurt.

No doubt I'm being a little irrational about it because A) the guy thinks the exact opposite about everything I believe about baseball, and B) the guy is clearly such an idiot. I want him out of my life.

Doing well my man. Jus real busy with this new job and the wife and I had our first child in December, a little boy so he keeps us busy but its the most awesome thing in the world! I got a long time before he can watch games with me but I hope yours cooperates...

The Braves need to make a deal right now for a legitimate everyday-quality player who can play when Chipper's out, either at 3B or LF. If he can't stay in the lineup in April, how's he going to stay in the lineup all summer? It's crazy to count on him giving you anything.
