I think he could be. I have it in my mind that I should see him at the 2 or 3 spot but he keeps getting stuck down at the bottom. Just seems odd...
Bottom line, he's got to show some sort of consistency before he hits 2-5 in the order. I'm not in total agreement with how they've handled Heyward, but he's going to have to play his way into the top of the order.

Your 2 hole hitter can't strikeout. Heyward gets behind in the count waytoo much to be considered for that spot.
I have no problem with hitting Heyward low in the order until he proves he can hit consistently. I have a big problem with where Fredi's been putting Heyward compared to Freeman this year.
Coming off the Spring Freeman just had, I can't blame Fredi for giving him the nod over Heyward early on. He was killing everything he saw the last 2 weeks in Orlando.
That is indeed the big guy. Man, I loved watching him play.
Yep, it's Murph. I was just telling the boy earlier that he was the only childhood hero I ever really had.

Fredi's perfectly willing to move Heyward in and out and up and down in the lineup depending on the situation of the day. So why hit Freeman 3rd based on what he was doing a month ago in Florida?
