Man, Chipper was as locked in as it gets. Pitcher had no chance.

How in the world, after a guy almost hits a walk off hr do you come back with a thigh high fastball down the middle on the next pitch? Thanks

Lul at all the Chip haterz.:)

I've never said he can't still hit the hell out of the ball when he's in there. The problem is that he misses too many games. Assuming he sits out tomorrow because it's a day game, he will have homered in one game of an important series and sat out the other two, which has been his MO for several years.

Exactly. For some reason, no one can comprehend what you are trying to say. Chipper's salary is that of someone who never misses a game. That is the problem.

We will all just get along tonight and laugh at Fhails.

I comprehend. But since i dont own a time machine, I just choose not to worry about something that just is what it is.

That was the most fun I've had watching a Braves game since the Brooks Conrad grand slam game.

Don't particularly want to belabor the point tonight, but I'll just say that while the contract was indeed signed in the past and is spilled milk, the decisions Chipper and the team make about when to put his name in the lineup are not.

He might as well have called his shot because that was Ruthian.

"Not in my house, b!$#%!" - Chipper Jones

No problem. Just everybody came into the thread slamming the Chipper haters. Just a defense mechanism in me.:) I'm thrilled with every game we get out of Chipper. It's a bonus to me. A great win tonight. The Braves need to win this series. Bury the Phillies while they are down.

Getting that last word in. I knew you were a lady friend. What up, lady friend?

I kid...
