Atlanta Braves II

I was talking about Moyer and Chipper. The Braves might throw at Moyer, but obviously he's not playing, and the Rockies might throw at Chipper, but he's not playing either. It shouldn't go any farther than it already has.

I've never understood why stealing signs is such a bad thing if you're intelligent enough to do it.

It's not a hard thing to pick up on. If you're on second base for 3 pitches you should have it by then. There's just not much you can do short of changing sequences and taking a trip to the mound every other pitch. Over the age of 12, it's an unwritten rule. Just leave it alone. I hated knowing what was coming anyway.

Although it's entirely possible that Chipper's comments, while great, might earn a teammate a fastball in the ribs. If I were the Rockies I might well throw at McCann today.

EDIT: I guess McCann isn't in there either. And there isn't really another good proxy for Chipper to throw at. Hm. I guess maybe I'd wait and throw at Chipper in September.

I think it will escalate if anyone accidentally gets hit or brushed back today.

Aflag question of the day: Who was the last Brave to charge the mound?

It has been a while, I can't think of who it would be.

Remember when McCann kept stepping out of the box and Moyer kept stepping off and he turned around and said something to Chipper last night? Apparently Moyer was accusing Chipper of stealing signs and our old guy got really pissed at their old guy.

That's awesome. Chipper owned that geezer.

The Rockies should be more concerned with a baseball team in the Braves that are scoring a couple touchdowns worth of runs a night on them instead of stealing signs.

So, I guess it's ok but Nicasio goes to his mouth, wipes his wrist, and goes to his cap bill between every pitch. It's almost too obvious.

I would have hit the first batter with the first pitch.

If you're not going to do that, then the only other way to handle it is to throw at Helton.

Geez, Helton's not in there today either. These guys are all so freaking soft.
