Jace has no future on this team outside of utility spot player. Useful yes, but he isn't the future. Maybe somewhere else but I doubt it. He is average at best. He is amazingly unspectacular and I don't understand the unwavering affection for him.

Z not wanting to compete is stupid. And I know he is never going to off the chicken and I don't think I can ever forgive him.

Jace is a better defender, gets on base better, and is five years younger than Garcia. No reason to play Garcia over him at all.

Is Jace an everyday player? I don't think so. Is Garcia an everyday player? Absolutely not. Garcia is five years older. That's just dumb.

I don't mind competing but don't half ass it. Don't give me Brandon Phillips and Adonis Garcia and Colon/Dickey and say "LOOK LOOK WE ARE GOING TO COMPETE" when you have a deep farm system and mid 20 players who have talent.

Arguing over whether or not Adonis or Jace need more at bats is tallest midget. Neither matter. I love Jace as he is, if you want him as your everyday second bagger more power to you, but prepare to be disappointed.

They played him to his strengths match up wise and it paid off. Can he do that everyday? Highly, highly unlikely. I like BP and Jace platoon, ideally, if I had to go with someone to get more at bats it would be BP. No idea if he can play third though, I think we can win some serious games this year so I'm not concerned with getting ____ at bats. Adonis is what he is, he should be on his knees every night thanking God for every at bat he gets.

FWIW Jace can play third. He's looked good over there this spring. He's headed towards a super utility role and will make a good one IMO.

The move to Knoxville is complete. Mover came and packed us out on Wednesday and Thursday, and closing docs signed today. I won't bore you guys with all the details, but this week has been a thrash. So glad it's over.

And it looks like my bracket ain't too bad so far.
