Eh, as long as you can arrange not to live and work so you get maximum traffic both ways every day then it's a pretty damn good city to live in and raise a family, at least in our experience. Traffic in Atlanta has never really been much of an issue for us. It's largely predictable and therefore mostly avoidable.

Atlanta is not a great tourist town and terrible one to drive through if you have to bypass through 285, so it gets kind of a bad rap. But it's a good place to live. I moved because I got paid more to live in a lower cost of living near family. But I miss all the **** to do in Atlanta.
