Actually Brown just looked at the lineup cards and it looks like they alternate days for him catching.

Man it is nice to have a high ceiling prospect at each position. Other than first seems like there is a good prospect who could pan out big.

For your sake, when my beloved preds bow out in 5 (to a team they shouldn't even be playing because they allowed a SHORT HANDED goal with a minute left to clinch facing the closest team to a dynasty in hockey in the last game of the season) I hope the Caps win the whole bundle.

Good luck to the Caps unless they meet my Bs down the road. Got off to a good start for me last night. I follow a lot of D.C. based news guys due to my masochistic relationship with my NFL team and there is a weird sense of trying to force optimism and "this is our time" narrative but they all seem to have these fatalistic undertones to it.

Articles running in the paper about a guy in his 80s whose been a fan for 40+ years and "deserving" to see a championship before he dies. Maybe it happens every year and I'm just not aware of it but it's got a weird feel to it.

Pretty sure it's never going to be the Caps' time. I know I'm a pessimist about sports in general but I'm way more fatalistic about the Caps than I am any other of my teams. I expect UT to win the NCAA tournament before the Caps win the Cup.

(And right on cue, Toronto is making the Caps look old and slow. I need to be drinking.)
