So am I crazy or just wrong, but if you are lying on the ground completely out of bounds and the ball is thrown off of you, isn't it still out off of the last in bounds established player to have touched it? If you have touched down out of bounds, aren't you basically a "dead" player until you reestablish yourself in bounds?

Its a stupid rule

Good effort from Gonzaga, but they just couldn't close. Everything was going their way right until that missed lay up that would have tied the game, but then it all just fell apart. Glad they didn't live up to their rep of choking early in the tourney this year.

Not too many wonderful options out there.

I don't think it would be a horrible hire. He had a good deal of success at Texas, including a trip to the Final Four. We probably don't have to worry about them hiring him though, he's well outside the profile of the discount rack shopping that UT likes to employ in all its coaching hires.

No one did less with more than Rick Barnes

Both have interest. I think he's the next coach.

I don't really disagree that he underachieved a lot throughout his years at Texas, but at least he did bring in talent and was a fixture in the NCAA tournament for 18 straight years. UT basketball could, and has, done a lot worse.

Texas should have had way more success. They recruited incredibly. Almost always underachieved.

Sure, but he's a solid choice for us. It's unlikely we're ever going to be a perennial elite 8 team.

He'll leave us in much better shape than we are currently in too.
