Watching the replay, the ball may not have been moving as fast as I originally thought. Once it's fouled, the ball takes a little bit of an arc to get back there. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks.

Anyone think its just a matter of time until nets are put up around the entire field of play (or at least the seats behind foul territory) to try and prevent this? To my knowledge, no one has been killed by a foul ball or loose bat but at some point, its bound to happen.
