Hockey is cool but I've never been able to attach to a team enough to follow it consistently.

Kinda glad right now, actually. Lol.

I try to watch all overtimes and some of the game 7s. Sometimes I can sit out a round and then come back and watch some other series in earnest. But yeah, the joy really goes out of it once the Caps are gone. Hockey is more tribal than any other American sport except maybe college football.

Everyone who was over earlier has gone home, but Verc Junior is trying to get me to stay up later and keep drinking. Not sure what to think about this.

(He thinks we dance better when I'm a little drunker. Great.)

This is funny on its own, but when read with "Verc Junior" as a euphemism it's even funnier. :)

I followed the Rangers for a little bit mainly because I liked their jerseys/colors. That's the worst reason in the world but it was cool for a little while.

Ahahaha, yes. It would be.

We had an event a couple weeks ago where Whiskey Claus had been over at the house earlier, and therefore there had been a lot of whiskey, and then three hours later Junior was still up playing Minecraft and I was still up drinking Guinness, and a Michael Jackson song came on and we both jumped up and started dancing together and it felt like we had been choreographed and practiced. Good times.
