I like all three, and even bought two of them on Blu-ray.

1. ZDT
2. Django
3. Argo

I agree with this, even though it doesn't seem to be a very common opinion. Most people I've heard talk about the two seem to like Argo more than ZDT.

I liked both, and these are the two that I've bought. I just felt that ZDT was probably more accurate as far as portraying the events in the movie as they happened in real life. I think Argo probably drummed up a lot of drama that wasn't really present during the crisis, and it didn't truly follow the chain of events between the raiding of the embassy and getting everyone out of the country.

Regardless, this was probably the first year where I've watched several of the movies (or actors within) were up for the big Oscar awards since those usually go to the more artsy pictures like Les Miserables (which I have no desire or intent to see).

Was only a matter of time after the Jets gave him the OK to meet with Tampa.

Gotta think they'll get less return than desired?

I would think so but I'm also probably in the minority of not really caring what the price tag is. We couldn't defend the pass, at all, last year an he cuts the field in half. Plus adding Dashon Goldson..I'm happy. I'm not a huge fan of football, and definitely not the nfl. However I do follow it for fantasy/betting purposes. Bucs were my favorite team growing up, so I still pull for em though I'm not super into it.

Not a Bucs fan, but he definitely helps your team. Gotta be able to defend the pass in the NFC South.

I'm pretty much in agreement with everything you said. I too really liked both films but I don't tend to have an issue with the whole sticking to the facts thing. It's a movie, I want them to fabricate some things if it leads to me more entertained. If I wanted a strict factual version, I'd buy a book or find a documentary.

I just thought that ZDT did a damn fine job of building tension and, even though it was a small part, I loved the interaction between the Seal team members. I've seen a lot of people claim that it was too slow and boring for them but I was enthralled.

I loved ZDT. I have Django on Redbox sitting next to me. Argo was good, but I don't see myself re-watching it anytime soon.

ZDT was really good, it was just exactly what I expected. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, meaning it didn't disappoint. Jessica Chastain did an amazing job. Saw it in theaters and haven't rented it yet, but may soon.

I liked Argo a lot and I like Affleck.

And I haven't seen Django yet, but may soon.

If you like Tarantino then you'll like Django. I know that sounds pretty obvious but I love the dialogue and character interaction in a Tarantino film and I thought Django was one of my favorites for that reason alone. I know others who were more luke warm about it because they weren't/aren't as big of a fan of aspect of his movies. Reservoir Dogs is still my favorite of his movies and there's little to no action throughout most of the film.

Also, Christoph Waltz was put on earth to read Tarantino lines.

Guy is awesome. I always meant to go and just never got around to it. I kind of told myself to wait until it was out on DVD so I didn't go opening night with a bunch of hype and come away disappointed.

Waltz in Django and Inglorious Basterds may be my 2 favorite performances, hes amazing. Leo, Sam, and Jamie were all good too in Django

You talking about the movie from the History Channel? If so, yes, I enjoyed it as well. Much more from the Seal perspective with ZDT being from the CIA perspective.

It may have come on History, its on Netflix now, but i have the DVD. It was more about the actual mission, while ZDR seemed to be more about the lady

Agreed. His opening scene in IB might have been my favorite scene from a Tarantino movie since the tipping discussion from RD. The RD scene was magnificent from a group perspective but his scene from Basterds was all him.

Also, when him and the girl were at the restaurant eating the pie
